Step One: Coffee.

Top of the morning, Dear Reader.

Baby Snap is snoozing, my freshly-washed curls are wrapped in a tee shirt bundle atop my head, and I currently do not have a cat or two demanding treats or attention.

I’ve also got a hot coffee in my Canada mug, and the WordPress Community quite literally at my fingertips.

It’s a precious moment of solitude.

Anyway, I say this after feeling like a mummy trapped inside a 33-year-old body.

Worn the eff out.

And, I might add that I feel this way as a privileged white woman.

(She takes a breath, shakes her head. She will not give up. Educate. Liberate. Vote.)

But since I’ve decided to reboot my blogging efforts, which somehow always makes me feel like the best version of myself, I’m going to focus on the whimsical, weird, and just-for-the-hell-of-it today.

The worries of the world can wait.

. . .

Three Little-Known Things About SnapDragon X.

1. I have never seen an episode of Keeping Up with The Kardashians, ever. And, *big shock* I’m cool with that. I have no clue what that family even does, or why they are so famous. Consider me officially not caught up.

(Have I said this before? I’ve definitely said this before.)

2. I pretty much hate peanut butter. I’ve tried to like it. I just. . . can’t. It’s too dry, too thick. Unless it’s in a Reese’s, I’ll take a hard pass on the PB, thanks.

3. I have an undiagnosed sleeping disorder. For real. I have outlandish dreams. Nightmares. Sometimes I’ll be certain I had a conversation with someone, only to discover it never actually happened during my waking hours.

Life: Why’s it gotta be so weird sometimes?

What’s a little-known fact about you, friend?

  1. The old song by Frank Sinatra “That’s Life”
๐ŸŽทWhat is the meaning of the song that’s life?
๐ŸŽปThe phrase “That’s Life” is often used to convey disappointment, but here Sinatra sees all the good things that life brings. Sinatra sang this with a scowl in ๐ŸŽธhis voice that was out of character, but exactly what the song needed.

I just take one day at a time! It’s not easy, but I’m going to be 74 years of age in October, I think I have done better good.๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. I have what is called mildly severe prosopagnosia. I have no idea what mildly severe means. I have almost no sense of smell. I may have a sleep disorder but I think I like it. I usually sleep five hours a night and don’t take naps. I seem to operate OK on that much sleep. Thank you for being transparent. Be well.

      1. between the two of us, we probably average out to what two average people would consume of peanut butter, so it’s OK ๐Ÿ™‚
