these cracked feet, cracked hands and crackling lines around my eyes

whisper in harmonious healing.

the weeping and seeping of water has dried.

a tortoise shell; a vacant nest; a notebook whose pages have been burned.

yesterday is a vanished ache.

  1. Oh man, “All Things Must Pass” is one of my all-time favorite albums. There’s this ineffable melancholy on that record that strikes me to the core. 💜
