You know: That thing we do to keep on going.
. . .
I have two feline companions on my lap; a leftover cookie-dough Blizzard at my fingertips; and a heartbeat that feels much too fast for a Friday night.
(shrugs)
Laaard knows why.
But I feel shaky.
I feel like I’m letting people down for reasons I don’t quite understand.
I thought I vowed to shed this misplaced guilt . . . ?

Oh my goodness does guilt suck and Blizzards always make it better 😉
It creeps up on me when I’m too busy to practice “reasonable” self-care and too worried about putting everyone else ahead of me. I feel guilt when I forget to include myself as a priority and let other people dictate what I “need” to do or “should” do 🤷♀️❤️
We need to kick guilt to the curb when it’s flexes on us ❣️ We can’t do and be everything to everyone 😟

I can identify heavily with this, I think a lot of people can but that’s just conjecture. Take care of you my friend.

It will pass.
Remember, sometimes guilt at not doing enough is a sign that you’ve done all you can. You can’t control the world; things will go wrong that you can’t change but all you need to do is be you. That’s more than enough.
