Scrap Paper.

Umm, yeah.

. . .

1. I’m still here. The hours click by in a series of diaper changes; spoon-fed meals; computer work; books both big and small; dishes and laundry; and of course, iced coffees. But, like, it’s April already? Where the fuck is my life going? (But she smiles, because she is happy-tired.)

2. Cute Fruit. Since spring is officially here, I decided to wear my bright white shirt with the lemons on it today. It makes me happy, probably more so than is reasonable.

3. Time for a Me-Think. I often remind myself that I am the only thing I can control in this world. And so, I want to be the very best version of me. I want to constantly reflect, evolve, and reevaluate. Rinse and repeat. ‘Cuz the work is never done.

Sending love your way, Dear Reader.

Thanks for being here.

  1. Great post Snap❣️❣️

Coming out the other side with teenagers, with their independence and emerging YA (which gives me back more time for me), I can remember the days where all that seems available IS snippets on scrap paper. I love that you do find time fir your thoughtful, and honest posts!

Carry on you wonderful, beautiful mama❣️

Your snippets are FAB and I love your Me-Think. Good aspirations. I’m right there with you. ❤️🤗🥰

  2. “Happy-tired” – oh, this is so good an expression, in fact a realization that I have seen many, missing the happiness out of tiredness. Some tiredness are so desirable in life, because it brings joy at the end of day.
